This paper talks about design thinking from a reflexive point of view.it is a reflection on the contemporary architectural practice in china .The concem with issues of globalization and regionalism is the focus of discussion.The ldea of reflexive design thinking is proposed to provide an alternative way of mediation to resolve conflict and contradiction,the discussion is developed through a historical review on the development of critical theory in architecture of the second half of last century
