摘要
VSAT网络协议的更新,都是以改进网络性能为目标的。本文对FATMA-一种新兴的时频多址协议进行了性能分析,结果表明FATMA可以大幅度提高网络的总吞吐量、具有更好的时延特性和工作稳定性。而且频率个数F越大,协议性能越好。当F足够大时,FATMA可以不设立退避时延,从而使分组传送时延减小到最低限度。
The renewal of VSAT network protocol is mainly for the purpose of improving performance.The performance analysis on a new protocol, Frequency And Time Multiple Access(FATMA),is presented in this paper.The results show that FATMA can not only increase the whole network throughput greatly,but also have better delay characteristics and stability than that of SALOHA. In addition, the more the number of frequency points(F),the better the protocol in its performance. When F is large enough, there can be no backoff delay for FATMA,so that the packet delay can be minimized to the lowest level.
