该项目从城市设计着手，以逻辑有序的总体构图，简洁单纯的平面形式形成新秩序、新肌理。强调向心性和有机生长，使这种新的城市肌理能够不断向周边扩展与渗透。建筑群总体呈现中间低，周边高的碗状聚气形态，以减轻城市热岛效应。交叉口处以退台式建筑为围合界面，风车型天桥为中心内容，在建筑退台的屋顶花园与天桥上创造休闲、交往空间，树立“新街口”之整体形象。

Starting from urban design, this project uses logical and orderly layout, simple and clear plan to form the new system and texture. The emphasis of center-orientation and organic growth makes the new urban texture continuously spread out and infiltrate to the surrounding areas. The building group appears to be a bowl-shape formation of low at the center and tall at the perimeter to relieve the city＇s heal domino effect The intersection uses the retreating platform as the erclosed interface, the windmill-type overbridge as the focal point, creating a recreation and communication space on the roof garden of the retreating stage and overbridge .It sets an overall image of ＂new street intersection＂.
