The article brlefly introduces the competition of design process for ＂Culture ＆ Sports Center＂organized by Shenzhen City Programming Bureau in 1998.The author devotes to discuss some important issues as ＂sense of place＂, design strategy, and order of some particular projects, Moreover, some principles are summarized according to a detailed study of interactive relationship of function and form as well.
