北林苑注重发掘场地文脉，在公园总体规划上保证与惠州西湖的景观格局的延续，通过合理设置景观节点，有机组合“功能线”与“景观线”，形成从动到静，从城市到自然的过渡，景观塔的新颖造型使其成为惠州新城市地标，在“惠州印象”滨讧广场中，利用现代的构筑元素。表达“峙南名郡”的场所文脉。
BLY paid attention to excavating the site context and assured the extension to the landscape pattern of Huizhou West Lake. Through moderately setting up the landscape nodes, BLY orga nically united the ＂function line＂ and ＂landscape line＇ forming a transition from stirring to quiet and from city to nature.
