The 21st century is a century that stress on sustainable development. The research and developments of the btfilding materials should be friendly to the environment and be advantageous to the health of mankind. This paper takes the development and researches of the green building materials as the main point, discussing the general domestic and foreign situations of green materials for buildings. And the green technique meastue of green mateaials for buildings is put forward.
