摘要 19世纪,帝国主义列强的坚船利炮对准中国,目的只有一个,要打开中国的通商贸易门户.百年后的1980年代,在经历了闭关锁国几十年后,中国商业贸易的大门终于洞然开放.从1980年代初陈宣远先生设计的北京建国饭店、贝聿铭先生设计的香山饭店到南京金陵饭店,中国的首幢玻璃幕墙建筑北京长城饭店1980年代末90年代初的上海商城和北京的燕莎中心20世纪末的上海金贸大厦,到21世纪的国家大剧院奥运会工程,北京、上海、广州等地机场、剧院、会展中心等标志性工程,外国建筑长驱直入.它们改变了中国城市的面貌,带动了城区的发展,也推动了中国人民生活方式思维的转变.有形的实体环境塑造人们的行为,本来是建筑环境设计的热门话题.以我国过去四分之一世纪巨量的城市建筑来考察这一实践颇有意义.
