800O多年的城市历史,是一部人类文明的发展历史.同时也是一部站在自然对立面的人类建设史。如果前工业社会和工业化社会还能维持这样的城市发展的话,面对全球城市化超过50%之后.站在自然对立面的城市不得不被终结.这个星球无法承担更多的人口向这种自然对立面的城市集结。人类未来只有两种选择:要么城市化停止于现在的状态。要么另辟蹊径.创造“更好的城市”来满足“更好的生活”。上海2010年世博会. 作为150年来首次采用“城市”主题的世博会.其园区规划基于对“和谐城市”的哲学思考.紧扣“人与自然”、“人与社会”、“历史与未来”三大和谐主题.作为未来“和谐城市”的预演.展现对于人类城市发展未来“和谐城市”的探索。
The 8 thousand-year histroy of cities is.a history of human civilization development as well as a history of urban develompment standing ajainst nature ,If preinductrial society and industrialized society can continue to develop in such way,since globalizing urbanization level now goes beyond 50% ,such anti-nature cities have to come to an end ,or this planet can not accommodate more population in these cities.Human-beings have only two choices;to stop urbanization at present state,or to find an alternative way to create ＇beeter city ＇ for ＇better life＇,The 2010 Shanghai World Expo is the first one in a histroy of 150-year Expo to use ＂city ＂ as its theme ,whose planning and desing is based on the philosoply of ＇Harmonious City＇ guided by ＇three harmonies＇ ＇harmony between human-beins and nature＇,＇harmony between human -beings and nature＇,＇harmony between human-beings and society,＇harmony between history and future＇,Being the rehearsal of ＇Harmonious City＇,the Shaghai World Expo will exhibity the exploration of human-beings to create a future ＇Harmonious City＇.
