摘要
本文通过介绍英国及曼城的建筑历史,阐释建筑风格和材料对旧建筑改扩建的影响,并结合设计实例,试图从建筑空间的再利用、改扩建、建筑自身新旧部分的关系和材料的运用几个方面展开说明,阐述曼城城市更生策略。
The essay refers to three case studies to introduce the strategy of urban regeneration in Manchester,and discusses the meanings of refurbishment and extension,space reutilization and material exertion under the process of urban regeneration and architectural design.
