东闵纪念大楼由于在校园中所处位置的特殊性,使其兼具建筑与校园入口的双重功能。本文结合实践大学与都市合一的脉动,简朴无华的质感、现代工艺的美学、节能省能的实践以及开放联系的校园精神等几方面的论述,介绍了东闵纪念大楼的设计理念。

Due to its special location on campus,Dong Min Memorial Building functions not only as a building but as an entrance.This paper introduces the design concept of Dong Min Memorial Building by discussing the following aspects：hamony between the pulse of Shih Chien University and that of the city,simple and plain sense of reality,aestehties in modern technics,the practice of energy saving,open and extending campus spirit,etc.
