This paper analyzes factors that influence on architectural characteristic of locality and discusses the processes of being absorbed and transformed for characteristic of locality with the development of modern architecture in Shenyang. In the contemporary era of the convergence for world culture, we wish to summarize the former experience and search the developing design ways for regional architecture which adapt to Shenyang.
