新地方主义是在当今文化冲突、气候、神话和工艺的综合作用下产生的新的地方性建筑,反映和服务于它所置身其中的有限机体。它成为很多经济欠发达地区建筑师抵御强势文化、捍卫自身文化特征的武器,同时也成为那些发达地区建筑师投身于自我表现意识的手段。本文介绍了西安高科广场和四川电视台的方案设计,作者在其中进行了一系列以地域分析为出发点的尝试,其中反映出来的一些思考,对于我们探索建筑的创作方向和方法很有帮助。"

Neo-regionalism refers to the new regional architecture resulted from tile comprehensive interaction of cultural conflict, climate, myth and techniques. It refiects and serves the limited organism to which it belongs. Architects in economically backward regions employ it to defend tile cultural features of the region against the dominant culture; on the other hand, architects in developed regions use it to express their own performance awareness.This paper attempts to conduct a series of analyses based on regionalism. The write hopes some of the reflections here may be of service to our design direction and methods.
