西魏北周时期的麦积山石窟

西魏北周时期甘宁地区的石窟群主要有麦积山、须弥山、莫高窟。麦积山所属地秦州在西魏北周境内具有次文化中心地位,麦积山石窟内容反映了这一特点。东魏、北齐邺城响堂山石窟的佛装式样、帐形龛传播到麦积山石窟;麦积山石窟的帐形龛、题材布局、造像服式等对须弥山石窟和莫高窟有所影响。

Maijishan, Xumishan and Mogao grottoes are the main Buddhist grotto groups in Gansu and Ningxia provinces during Western Wei and Northern Zhou dynasties. Among them, Maijishan grotto played a more important role than the other two grottoes. The Buddhist clothing patterns, formed at Xiangtangshan grotto in Ye city during Eastern Wei and Northern Qi dynasties, first spread to Maijishan grotto in Northern Zhou dynasty. Afterwards, the characters of Maijishan grotto effected Xumishan and Mogao grottoes .
