Teaching non-Chinese speakers to learn Chinese language in the unique Chinese cultural atmosphere

中国政治和经济的发展势必推动和扩大对外文化、教育的影响力。对外汉语教学,不仅仅是教会外国人识汉字、阅读汉语文章,更重要的是向他们传播中华文化。因此,对外汉语教学绝不仅仅是一般意义上的外语教学而是具有汉民族特色的文化语言传授。

With the development of Chinese economy, China plays an even more important part in the world politic stage than any time before. At the same time, understanding the Chinese language, the Chinese culture and the Chinese people becomes the great trend all over the world. Teaching non-Chinese speakers to learn Chinese is not only teaching foreigners to understand Chinese and to read articles in Chinese but also disseminating Chinese culture to them. Therefore, teaching non-Chinese speakers to learn Chinese is a cultural dissemination with Chinese characteristics as well as a general teaching of foreign language.
