A Brief Account of Zeng Guofan's Family Moral Principles and Ethics

家庭伦理道德是中国传统伦理道德的重要组成部分。曾国藩的家庭伦理道德主要体现于读书、修身、家庭教育三方面。在读书上,他要求子女要勤奋,要有志、有识、有恒;在修身上,他主张慎独、克己、敬恕、谦虚;在家庭教育方面,提倡勤俭持家、孝悌友仁爱。

Family moral principles and ethics are an important component of Chinese traditional morality, and Zeng Guofan＇s ideas about family moral principles and ethics are mainly embodied in three aspects including reading,self-cultivation and family education.
