Preliminary Explorement on the Economy and Trade in Yanbian Region in the First Half of 20th Century

延边地区的经贸有较长的历史,其中,输出多为土特产、农产品及其加工品,输入多为生活用品及工业制成品是清末延边地区经贸的基调;民国时期的经贸比清末时期有大幅度提高;伪满时期,由于东北沦为日本殖民地,导致延边地区的经贸彻底被日本所垄断。

The history of the economy and trade in Yanbian region is very long. The most of exported products in this region are local speciality, agricultural products and processed products. While the most of the imported are daily necessities and manufactured goods of industry, which were the base of this region in late Qing Dynasty. The economy and trade in Republic of China was improved more than in the the end of Qing Dynasty. During the Puppet Manchuria, the economy and trade in Yanbian region was monopolized completely by Japan colonialists because of the fall of Northeast China .
