FRACTURE ANALYSIS OF SAFETY-PIN ON A FOUR-TANDEM ROLLING MILL

四联轧卷取机安全销在使用过程中发生早期断裂。采用化学分析、宏、微观检验等方法对断裂销进行了失效分析。认为,由于安全销材质中存在大量的氧化物夹杂,破坏了材料基体组织的连续性,增加了材料的缺口敏感性和降低了材料的强度,造成安全销在正常使用中发生早期断裂。

A foreign-equipped safety-pin which was used in some factory had fractured early in procession of production. On the basis of analysis by SEM and EDS, much oxide inclusion existed in shear facture, which destroyed the continuity of the structure of matrix material, weakened the combinative power among the structure, added the sensitivity of the gap, lowered the strength, and caused early fracture in procession of production.
