The Elliptical Model for MicroCell MIMO Channel

摘要 提出了一种新的基于微小区环境的MIMO空时相关的信道模型,即椭圆模型,得到了微小区环境下衰落的空时相关函数.模型考虑了天线阵列的间距、天线阵列的放置角度,以及移动端的运动等因素对衰落相关性的影响.在模型的基础上,用Monte Carlo法对衰落信道进行了仿真,探讨了影响衰落的空时相关性和MIMO信道容量的因素. In this paper, a new space-time cross-correlation channel model, i.e. elliptical model, for micro-cell MIMO antenna systems is presented and a new joint space-time cross-correlation function is derived from this model. The effects of antenna spacing, antenna array angle and motion of the receiver are considered. Base on the model, the wireless fading channels are simulated by using Monte Carlo simulation method. Some factors that affect the space-time cross -correlation between the fading antenna links and the channel capacity of MIMO antenna systems are discussed.
