摘要
以丽江Ms7.0地震和昆仑山Ms8.1级地震为例,论证了GPS在地震预报中的作用,以及面临的和亟待解决的问题:如分析研究落后于观测、怎样克服自身的局限性与其它手段结合互补、连续GPS台网密度太稀疏等。
Taking the Lijiang Ms7.0 and Kunlun Mountains Ms8.1 earthquake as examples, this paper has expounded and proved the important role of GPS for earthquake prediction and some problems which should be solved urgently : the analysis and research fall behind as compared with the observation, how to surmount the limitation of it self, how to combine and complement other means, as well as continuous GPS station net is too sparse.
