Freshman's Attitude towards Psychological Counseling

目的了解大学新生对心理咨询的态度和要求。方法根据自编问卷逐题呈现、个别访谈315名普通高校的新生。结果63.5%的被访者愿意去心理咨询;被访者认为自己寝室中有23.3%的人需要接受心理咨询;近8成的被访者将心理咨询作为解决日常心理困扰的手段,而2成多的则认为是“心理有病”才去;被访者对心理咨询室的要求首要条件是安静,对咨询师的首要要求是平易近人;这两方面的要求男女有别。结论还需进一步加强心理咨询宣传工作,并对咨询师和咨询室做出适应来访者性别差异的安排。

Objective To study pattitude and demand of freshman towards mental counseling. Methods 315 college freshman were interviewed individually according to a questionnaire made by the authors. Results 63.5 % freshman would like to take counsel. They reported 23.3 % of their roommate should go for counsel. Nearly 80% interviewee regarded counsel as a means to deal with daily trouble, while more than 20% thought it necessary only if mental health went wrong. The interviewee＇s first demand on counsel room was quiet, demand on counselor was amiable and easy of approachable. There was different demand in gender. Conclusion Psychological counseling needs publicizing with more efforts, and gender difference should be taken into account when we design counselor and counsel room.
