The leak detection in urea synthesis reactor was an important link for safety moving. As there＇ re many infactions, the steam detection was not suitable for the need of leak detection. The leak detection method, system install, technology peculiarity and applied examples of ammonia infrared analysis to detect leak in urea synthesis reactor were introduced. This method was an effective technology in urea synthesis reactor leak detection.
