功能分析参照下对景点介绍性文本的英译问题初探

A Functional Approach to the C-E Translation of Tourism-Related Introductory Texts

本文从Halliday的功能语言学的角度出发,并结合Nida的功能对等观点,着重探讨了语言的三大纯理功能在景点介绍性文本的翻译过程中的指导意义。本文认为,要做好这类文本的翻译离不开对原文和译文的两次语篇分析,对原文的分析能使译者掌握其欲传递的功能;而关键问题在于对译文的分析,即译文是否恰当地复现了原文的这些功能。由此,本文还对这一功能复现过程中所存在的问题进行了个案分析,提出了解决这些问题的几点思考。

With reference to Halliday＇s functional linguistics and Nida＇s proposal of functional equivalence, this article mainly deals with the guiding significance of the Halliday - proposed metafunctions of language in the translating of tourism - related introductory texts, arguing that two textual analyses have to be conducted for the sake of comprehending whether the translated version successfully reproduces the functions represented in the source text. Further, this article tries to figure out the possible function - based differences between the ST and TF and propound some reflections on this issue.
