Alterations of Na^+,K^+ ATPase Activity in the Rat Cerebral Tissues after Fluid Percussion Brain Injury

摘要 目的:测定大鼠颅脑液压损伤后脑组织内Na+-K+-ATP酶活性,探讨其在继发性脑损伤中的作用。方法:利用大鼠颅脑液压损伤模型,在致伤后6小时测定脑组织含水量、脑组织内Na+-K+-ATP酶活性。结果:脑损伤6小时后,损伤侧脑组织内含水量明显增加(P<0.05),Na+-K+-ATP酶活性明显下降(P<0.05);而未损伤侧脑组织含水量和脑内Na+-K+-ATP酶活性均无显著改变(P>0.05)。结论:脑损伤后脑组织内Na+-K+-ATP酶活性下降是继发性脑损害发生和发展的重要因素之一。 Aim: To elucidate the effect of Na +,K + ATPase activity on secondary brain injury. Methods: We observed the changes of water content and Na +,K + ATPase activity in the cerebral tissues at six hours after an acute closed traumatic head injury in rats which were produced by fluid percussion brain injury model. Results: The brain water content significantly increased ( P <0.05) and Na +,K + ATPase activity decreased ( P <0.05) in the injured cerebral hemisphere in the brain injury group as compared with that of the sham operation group at six hours after the FP brain injury. However, the brain water content and Na +,K + ATPase activity in the non injured cerebral hemisphere had no significant difference as compared with the sham operation group ( P >0.05). Conclusion: The results suggest that the decrease of Na +,K + ATPase activity of the injured cerebral tissues after head injury may take part in the physiopathologic course of secondary brain injury.
