摘要 为了寻求更有效的针对静止彩色图像的小波压缩编码方法,本文简述了能用于工程实践的人类视觉系统(HVS)模型;着重讨论了适合压缩的亮/色彩色空间和彩色对比敏感度函数(CSF)。结合HVS对彩色图像处理的有关特性,研究了一种静止彩色图像小波编码方法。该方法与其他基于小波的彩色图像编码方法相比,编码效率高、算法简单,提高了主观质量。 An HVS (Human Visual System) model that can be used in engineering applications is described to achieve more efficient wavelet coding for still color image. The luminanec/ehrominance color space and color CSF (Contrast Sensitivity Function)suitable for compression are emphatically discussed. Considering the color image processing characteristics of HVS, a still color image wavelet coding method is presented. Compared with other wavelet-based color image coding methods, this algorithm features simple, high coding efficiency, and improved subjective quality.
