摘要
介绍了一种实用的图象通信技术,采用图象缓存方式实现静态图象在窄带线路的传输,提出了DPCM预测编码与哈夫曼编码相结合的方案,降低了图象帧存的容量,进一步提高了信息的传输效率,半分钟就可在普通电话线上输一幅电视图象.
A practical technique of image communication is presented.The static imagecan be transmitted in narrow band channel by means of imag bufferihg.The combination of DPCM and Huffman coding is applied to compress image data.The requirement of image frame buffer can be decreased and the efficiency of image transmission can be increased.An image can be transmitted on ordinary telephone line in half a minute.
