Interpretation of pressing close to the historical reality—A book review on "Interpretation about <Ying Zao Fa Shi>"

《营造法式解读》是由潘谷西和何建中著,2005年11月出版的一本关于《营造法式》研究的专著。作者以书评的方式,从“突破建筑学本体认识的历史观,反映原书体例的真实观、注重探讨营造特点的建筑观,还原历史面貌和特点的科学观”这四个方面,介绍了该专著的特点和价值,同时对书中一些有创意的研究观点和成果进行了分析和评价。书评的结论是：专著是贴近历史真实的解读,由此对宋代《营造法式》赋予了更加永久存在的意义。

This Paper is a book review on ＂Interpretation about 〈Ying Zao Fa Shi〉＂, which wrote by Pan Guxi and He Jianzhong and published in Nov. 2005. The paper introduces the characters and value of the works through four aspects： 1. Historical view going beyond architectural term; 2. Realistic expression reflecting the stylistic rules of original book; 3. Architectural sight focusing on the construction of buildings; 4. Scientific view returning to the original appearance. Meanwhile, the paper analyses and makes comments on the original ideas and research results. The conclusion is that the works has an interpretation of pressing close to the historical reality and thus the 〈Ying Zao Fa Shi〉 in Song dynasty was given new value of permanent existence by the book＇s interpretation.
