广东省城市竞争力研究

Research on the Cities' Competitiveness in Guangdong Province

本文利用主成分分析方法和聚类分析方法对广东省主要城市进行分析,构建了一个评价指标体系,并找出影响城市差异化的主要原因,同时也对广东省21个主要城市进行合理分类。研究结果表明,城市整体经济实力是影响一个地区城市竞争力的主要因素,其次是社会发展状况和经济发展速度。文章最后,针对广东省各城市进一步发展,本文提出了政策建议。

Taking principal components analysis and cluster analysis as methods to analyze the main cities in Guangdong Province, this paper builds an index systems of assessment, and finds the factors which affecting the cities＇ differentiations, and classes 21 main cities in Guangdong Province rationally. The research result is that the regional economic strength is the first reason which affecting the cities＇ competitiveness, the second is social development and economic rate of development. At last, aiming to the further development, this paper presents some measures to all the main cities in Guangdong Province.
