The features of coal-water slurry and heat coal gas, and its process, invest and budget, profit and technology feasibility by the two kinds of fuel instead of masout were introduced.The strong and weak of the two kinds of fuels were compared. Heat gas was better than coal-water slurry for solid caustic soda production after analysis.
