Study on Revenge in Chinese Ancient Law

复仇在中国古代是一个不可回避的社会问题。中国古代法律对复仇的态度经历了一个长期的变化过程,由开始的许可到唐之后的禁止,但在对复仇问题的解决中,陷入了深深的“礼”与“法”的冲突中。为了协调“礼”与“法”的矛盾,中国古代社会形成了一套比较可行的方法。

Revenge is an inevitable social problem in ancient China. The altitude to revenge in China ancient law has undertaken a long period of change, from the allowance at the very beginning to prohibit after Tang dynasty. The deep conflict has occurred between ＂Feeling＂ and ＂Law＂. Ancient China has created a feasible method to coordinate the contradiction of ＂Feeling＂ and ＂Law＂.
