目前,由于高等学校行使学生处分权的法律程序的缺失,对学生的合法权益造成了损害,并引起了大量的法律纠纷,部分学校还因此而败诉。因此,高等学校在行使学生处分权的过程中遵循正当程序已成为时代发展的必然要求。

At present, because the colleges are in the absence of right legal procedures when they dispose the students＇ problems. They have brought the harm to students＇ legitimate rights and interests, and have caused the massive legal dispute. Some schools also therefore lost lawsuits. So it is a necessary request of the times for the colleges to follow the right procedures when they exercise the right of punishing the students.
