中国双节行军蚁属一新种(膜翅目,蚁科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS AENICTUS SHUCKARD FROM CHINA (HYMENOPTERA, FORMICIDAE)

记述了采自湖北武当山自然保护区的双行军蚁属1新种:武当山双节行军蚁Aenictuswudangshanensissp.nov.。新种与泰国双节行军蚁A.thailandianusTerayamaetKubota相似,但新种唇基前缘明显凹入,腹柄下突呈矩形向前下方突出,整个前胸背板呈一刻纹较弱的光亮区。模式标本保存于湖北民族学院昆虫标本室。

In this paper a new species of the genus Aenictus Shuckard is described from Wudangshan Nature Reserve, Hubei Province, China. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Insect Collection, Hubei Institute for Nationalities, China. Aenictus wudangshanensis sp. nov. （Figs. 1-2） This new species is similar to Aenictus thailandanus Teragama et Kubota, but differs from the latter by the following characters： anterior border of clypeus clearly concave, subpetiolar process rectangular, and the whole pronotum shining with weakly microreticulate. Holotype worker, 600 m, Wudangshan Nature Reserve （32.4°N, 110.9°E）, Hubei Province, 8 Aug. 2004, WANG Wei leg. Paratypes- 9 workers, collected from the same nest of the holotype. Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality.
