Smoking and the Influencing Factors Among the Middle School Students of Kazakh Nationality

目的了解哈萨克族中学生吸烟状况及其影响因素,为在哈萨克族中学生中开展控烟干预活动提供依据。方法采用无记名问卷进行现况调查,描述哈萨克族中学生的吸烟状况,采用非条件Logistic回归分析评价各因素与吸烟之间的关系。结果哈萨克族中学生尝试吸烟率为9.45%,吸烟率为3.44%。Logistic回归分析显示影响哈萨克族中学生吸烟的因素有性别、年龄、是否饮酒和父亲是否吸烟。结论哈萨克族中学生吸烟状况不容忽视。应针对中学生与吸烟相关的知识、态度和行为的影响因素,在中学生中及早开展控烟干预措施是控制人群吸烟率的重要途径。

Objective To understand smoking and the influencing factors among middle school students of Kazakh nationality, and to provide bases for smoking cessation programs. Methods With an anonymous self-administered questionnaire, a cross-sectional study was conducted among 2 032 middle school students of Kazakh in Xinyuan County. The relations of factors and smoking were assessed by non-conditional Logistic regression. Results Among the students of Kazakh nationality, attempting smoking rate was 9.45% and smoking rate was 3.44%. Logistic regression analysis indicated that the influencing factors to smoking were sex, age, alcohol using and paternal smoking. Conclusion Smoking cessation programs should be developed among Kazakh students according to the influencing factors to smoking.
