摘要 Ad hoc网络作为一种新型的多跳无线网络,由于其组网方便、灵活和无需预先设立基站等基础设施,已得到了广泛关注。文中探讨了Ad hoc网络与PSTN(公共电话交换网)融合的一般模型结构及其相应的关键技术。异种网络的协同工作在下一代网络中将是一个普遍的问题,Ad hoc与PSTN互连,或者Ad hoc网络作为PSTN的无线延伸,可以充分发挥这两种网络各自的优点,是PSTN升级更新的一种全新的、有效的方式。 A mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of wireless terminals that can be deployed rapidly. In this paper, we propose a new architecture on the integration of Ad hoc network and PSTN ( Public Switched Telephone Network). The cooperation between heterogeneous networks will be an important aspect that needs to be considered in the next generation network. The Ad hoc network can interconnect with PSTN, or acts as an wireless extension of PSTN. The network integration is a new, efficient method to update PSTN, which takes full advantage of the two networks.
