The hardware structure and organization principle of the vehicle termination in navigation and positioning system for vehicles are introduced. The technology of vehicle termination location display is expounded in detail, it is introduced mostly that how to use the OCX in MapInfo MapX and programming Visual C＋＋ ,achieving electronic map,and displaying movement track of the vehicle. Functions including real-time determine of position and velocity,information query of map, travel route replay,monitoring are integrated in the vehicles＇ positioning and navigation system by electronic map.
