口岸开放与晚清经济区的形成——岭南经验以及全国尺度

The Opening of the Ports to the Outside World and the Formation of the Economic Zone in the Late Qing Dynasty: A Case Study of Lingnan and its Influence in China

晚清以来的口岸开放启动了地域经济从传统向现代的革命性转变。本文以岭南港埠与其腹地的地域系统为中心,并延及全国的尺度,讨论了开港以来,传统经济地域的细分以及晚清经济区的塑造过程,重新评价了近代区域塑造的动力、方式与意义。本文还梳理了晚清以来生产空间的拓展与新经济区的演变轨迹,彰显这一陵替变革的现代意义,有助于理解当前经济区划的历史原型与近代尺度,并在此基础上提出了一些颇有价值的建言。

The opening of the ports to the outside world launched a revolutionary transformation of the regional economy from the traditional to the modern model.This paper,focusing on the ports of Lingnan and its interior as well as its influence in China,discusses the regional economic development and the formation of the economic zone in the late Qing Dynasty and reevaluates the motives,ways and significance of the formation of such zone in the early modern times.The analysis of its historical development helps reveal the modern significance of this great change and the historical type and standard of such economic zone.The paper finally offers some suggestions.
