Study on the Rotten Root Atrophy of Sophora japonica

2003年对国槐死亡原因进行调查。通过对比试验,发现树盘长期积水,导致根腐病发生,是国槐死亡的主要原因。

The trees （Sophorajaponica） have been planted in Huanghuai University campus since 1996,the growth of arboreal part was quicker, but 2-5 % of the adult tree with the diameter of 8-10 cm died every year. The special investigation and experiment indicated the cause of tree death resulted from the root-rot atrophy because of a long-term flooding.
