摘要
片面强调修辞模式的差异无助于学生写作能力的提高,反而产生了种种负面的效果。多位研究者在实证研究中发现,由于教学模式化的训练束缚了学生创新能力,学生大都只会机械套用篇章模式,文章的色彩十分单一。此外,写作教学模式化还导致学生不能认识英语语篇的丰富性,欣赏能力下降,写作能力也相应弱化甚至僵化。英语教学界应对这一问题给予重视并进行认真的反思,认清对比修辞理论在指导写作教学方面存在的缺陷及其负面效果,纠正英语写作教学中夸大对比修辞理论指导作用的偏向。
One-sided emphasis on the different rhetoric patterns will not only bring no improvement in the English writing ability of college students, but produce various negative effects. Quite a few researchers have demonstrated that the rigid model in writing training has fettered the students' creativity. Many students will just apply a writing model mechanically when writing, and produce dull and monotonous compositions. Furthermore, writing training of this kind has also fettered the students' ability to appreciate the variety of English texts, weakened or even fossilized their writing ability. English teachers should give due attention and reflection to the problem, see clearly the flaws and negative effects of contrastive rhetoric rectify the deviation in the teaching of English writing.
