摘要 为了研制高性能、高可靠MPT,在真空条件下,实验研究了不同推进工质、内导体位置、微波接头灌封材料、探针长度、工质流量和微波输入功率等因素对100W MPT可靠启动和稳定工作的影响。通过实验,分析了MPT主要性能参数如推力、比冲及效率等随工质流量、微波输入功率等参数的变化规律。研究结果可为MPT的性能改进起到重要指导和参考作用。 Microwave plasma thruster (MPT) is one type of electrothermal propulsion devices. Its characteristics including high specific impulse, long lifetime and slight plume contamination make it very attractive for future application. Making use of the vacuum experimental system, the factors which influence on reliable startup and steady work of IOOW MPT such as different propellants, position of inner-conductor, sealed materials of microwave tie-in, probe length, mass flowrate and input power were analyzed and observed. The relations of performance parameters such as thrust, specific impulse and efficiency among mass flowrate of propellant and input power of microwave were discussed and drawn.
