改进的指纹图像参考点定位算法

Improved fingerprint reference point location algorithm

针对Hong和Jain提出的指纹图像参考点定位算法的不足提出了指纹定位算法的改进方案,利用复数滤波器对指纹脊线方向场进行滤波来定位指纹图像的参考点,并通过在FVC2000标准指纹数据库上的对比实验,验证了该改进算法的有效性．

In light of the shortcoming of the fingerprint reference point location algorithm introduced by Hong and Jain, an improved location algorithm is presented. The fingerprint ridge orientation field is filtered with a complex filter to locate the reference point of the fingerprint image. Finally, the improved method is ＂evaluated on the FVC2000 fingerprint image database, and the experimental results show that the improved algorithm can locate the reference point correctly and accuratly.
