In order to solve the problem of the debugging and controlling of the right shaking time of the electric motor of shaker in electrostatic precipitators, the PIC58BS single chip microcomputer of Microchip Technology Inc is used to improve the circuit of the system. The layout strategy of the software and hardware is introduced. The testing shows that the improvement reduces the device volume as well as the power consumption, moreover makes it more convenient and reliable.
