进入社会转型期以来,我国农村思想道德建设的主流是健康进步的,总的趋势是由传统型向现代型转变,在矛盾和曲折中不断适应着社会发展的客观要求。与此同时,对存在的不利于社会文明进步的消极、落后现象,也不容回避和轻视。农村的思想道德建设,对社会主义新农村建设具有特殊意义,因此,要坚决扭转实际工作中忽视农村思想道德建设的现象;要明确重点,旗帜鲜明地开展社会主义思想道德教育;农村思想道德建设要与经济建设、民主政治建设和精神文明建设紧密结合;对农民的思想道德教育要有层次性和针对性;还要建立健全农民思想道德教育的长效机制。

The mainstream of Minds and Morals contribution in our countryside is progressive. The total tendency changes from the traditional type to the modern one and adapts continuously to the objective demands for social advancement with contradictions and twists. At the meantime, we should not shy away and take lightly negative and backward phenomena unfavorable for social advancement. The Minds and Morals Contribution is the great significance in developing new socialist countryside. Hence, we should turn firmly the situation in practice with distinct emphasis and carry out clearly minds and morals education. The development of minds and morals should be closely combined with economy, democracy and spiritual civilization development. We should take different steps and have clear aims in minds and morals education of farmers and build well its long-effect mechanism.
