外国直接投资对我国外贸竞争力影响途径的计量检验

Empirical Study on How Inward Foreign Direct Investment Affect China's Foreign Trade Competitiveness

本文利用2001、2002、2003年我国的工业行业数据,检验了外国直接投资影响我国外贸竞争力的途径。结果表明,外国直接投资促进了我国外贸竞争力指数的提升,同时也发现,在外商投资企业技术创新水平较高的行业,外商投资企业自身的出口和技术创新都是提升我国外贸竞争力指数的因素,在外商投资企业技术创新水平较低的行业,外商投资企业自身的出口提升了我国的外贸竞争力指数,而技术创新却降低了我国的外贸竞争力指数。

This paper empirically studies how foreign direct investment affect China＇s foreign trade competitiveness by using the industry data of 2001, 2002 and 2003. The result indicates that FDI improves China＇s index of export competitiveness; and in high R＆D industry of foreign funded enterprises, FDI improves China＇s index of export competitiveness by the R＆D; and in low R＆D industry of foreign funded enterprises, the export of foreign funded enterprises improves China＇s index of export competitiveness, but R＆D of foreign funded enterprises depresses China＇s index of export competitiveness. Finally, it proposes some advices on how to use FDI to improve China＇s exhort enmnetitiveness.
