跨国公司对我国东部沿海区域技术进步效应的研究

Empirical Study on the Effect of FDI on the Technology Advancement of Coastal Regions in China

新经济增长理论认为,技术进步是实现经济长期增长的决定性因素。然而,技术的发展在不同国家和地区之间是不平衡的,这是导致当今区域经济发展差距的决定性因素之一。文章利用计量经济软件Eviews定量分析后认为:外商直接投资与我国沿海区域技术进步高度相关,外商直接投资可以很好地促进区域技术的进步。这对于今后制定引资政策、缩小区域经济发展差距具有重要参考价值。

New Growth Theory thinks that technology improvement determines the economic growth in long-term. Though technology improvement is out of equilibrium in different countries, it is one of the main factors that lead to the economic developing gap among them. This paper, using the softwear of Eviews, analyzes the quantitative relations between the technology improvement and FDI in the coastal regions in China, and the result shows that FDI has heavily promoted the technology improvement. It is clear that this result is valuable to the policy of FDI utilization and reducing the economic development gap in our country.
