加德纳多元智能理论与外语教学

Influences over Foreign Language Teaching from Gardner's MI Theory

早在1983年加德纳就提出了MI理论即多元智能理论。他认为传统的智能概念已远远不足以满足现代社会对人才需求的要求。在21世纪语言学家对这一理论进行广泛的探索和研究,提出的多元智能理论对外语教学实践有着深远的影响。本文从多元智能理论的简要介绍入手,探讨多元智能理论与外语教学的密切关系以及多元智能在目标、过程、评价上对外语教学的影响。

In 1983, Dr. Howard Gardner proposed the theory of Multiple Intelligences. In his theory, Gardner believed that the traditional intelligence＇ concept can not meet the need of talents in modern society. MI theory has great effect on foreign language teaching practice. This article briefly introduce what MI theory is, discusses the close relationship between MI and FLT, and influences on the language teaching process, goal and evaluation.
