A Comparison Between Ink-and-wash Paintings and Watercolors

本文通过比较水墨画与水彩画在语言的形式意向和写意的意象、笔道的丰富性和水迹的趣味性以及意境的相似性,从而阐述了有着相似视觉效果的两种绘画形式,由于文化内涵不同而导致了美的内涵不同的审美差异。

Through comparising between ink - and - wash paintings and watercolors in the aspects of purposes in artistic language form, brushwork images, variety of painting lines, charm of water mark, and resemblance in artistic conception, this article gives an exposition of how two types of painting, though similar in visual impressions, differs from each other in aesthetic connotations due to different cultural connotations.
