Trial and Program of Interconnectivity of Production Service Networks at TV Station

A networked production mode will lead to revolutionary changes in the operation mode and mechanism and management mode for TV program production services, but these changes must pass through a certain process in practical application. For lack of safey control technology and due to some objective conditions most of early numerous networks have a small scale, special services and independent structure and no interconnectivity exists among production service networks. In recent years, the Beijing Television has carried out a trial of interconnectivity among existing production network systems and on this basis has worked out a program of inlerconneclivity of a newly networked production and broadcasting system. Based on Beijing Television's experience, the implementing means for and tentative ideas of network interconnectivity in different application environment and objective conditions arc explained in detail.
