Let E be a closed convex subset of an arbitrary real Banach X, and T： E→ E be a Lipschitzian strictly pseudocontractive mapping. By using some analysis techniques, Ishikawa iterative sequence converges strongly to the unique fixed point of T are proved. Furthermore, a gerenal convergence rate estimate is also given, which unify and extend some related results.
