Analysis on marks for students from high-level professional schools basing on data-mining and its prediction

运用数据挖掘技术中的关联规则对某高职学院的成绩数据进行深入分析,得出了高职学生专业基础课程与专业课程之间的相关趋势,并结合数据挖掘结果,对成绩进行了分析与预测.结果表明,该高职院校学生专业课程类成绩略高于基础课程类成绩,基础课成绩“不及格”的学生,专业课成绩取得“优秀”是很困难的,因此应加强基础课程教学.

An analysis is made on the marks data of some high-level professional schools by exploiting association rules in the technique of data mining, Relevance tendency between professional foundational courses and professional courses is found. Analysis and prediction are made on the marks, combined with the result of data mining. It＇s suggested that the marks for the professional courses are better than the marks for the foundational courses in this high-level professional school, and that the students with ＂failure＂ in foundational courses are rather difficult to gain ＂excellence＂ in professional courses. Therefore, foundational course teaching should be intensified.
