服装的美与人体的美是一个统一体,服装设计的奥秘就在于突出和夸张人体的优美特征,弥补人体的某些不足之处。成功的服装设计应该以人体作为潜在的视觉焦点,扬长避短。本文从人体体表与视觉、人体局部特征与视觉、人体的动势与视觉等几个方面论述了服装与人体的一体化关系,指出人体美是服装美的基础,服装美是人体美的彰显,二者是相辅相成的整体。

Beauty of costumes always goes in hand in hand with the glorification of human body with the two well bonded and devoted to the same goal. The success of fashion design lies in the ultimate purpose of highlighting and revealing the beauty of human body while diminishing human flaws. This paper expounds on the correlation between garments and human body by examining the relations between outer body and human visual faculty, particular body features and vision, human movement and vision etc, and concludes that the objective of costume design is to facilitate the achievement of beautification of human body while human body dictates the dimension of costume design, with the two being one and the same, unified under the common mission.
