Reception aesthetics is a kind of literature theory which focuses on authors＂ receptions as its main. The theory is directly influenced by the theories of literary autonomy and defamiliarization of Russian formalism. The theory of Russian formalism literature can be found more or less in the reading, readers and works of reception aesthetics as well as in the important theories of literature evolution, etc. Reception aesthetics developed from the theory of Russian formalism.
